Strawberry (or Peach) Ice Cream

• 3 pints crushed strawberries (or peaches)
• 3 cups sugar
• tiny dab of lemon juice
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 1 pint half and half
• 1 pint heavy whipping cream
• 1 tablespoon vanilla

Crush the fuit with sugar and lemon juice. Let stand for a while. Mix all ingredients together, place in electric ice cream freezer and process until frozen.
