Surprise Pie

3 egg whites
1 cup sugar
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
14 Ritz crackers, crushed
2/3 cup chopped pecans
1 cup whipping cream

Beat egg whites. Add sugar, baking powder and vanilla. Beat until stiff. Gently mix in Ritz cracker crumbs and pecans.

Bake in a greased 9" pie plate for 35 minutes at 325°.

Whip cream. Sweeten with sugar. Spread on cooled pie. Refrigerate several hours.
