Potato Chip Cookies

2 cups butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1½ teaspoons vanilla
3 ½ cups flour
1 ½ cups potato chips (crushed, not too fine)
2 cups pecans, chopped

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla. Gradually add flour and stir until well mixed. Add potato chips and pecans. Roll dough into balls the size of walnuts and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Press down with a fork.

Bake at 350° for 14-18 minutes.

Makes 7 dozen (they freeze well)
