Mexican Wedding Rings

¾ cup shortening
¼ cup butter
½ cup confectioner's sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon almond extract
½ cup chopped pecans
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt

Cream together: shortening, butter, sugar. Blend in vanilla, almond extract and nuts. Gradually add flour and salt. Mix until dough is smooth. A teaspoon at a time, shape dough and place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 325° for 25 minutes. Roll in confectioner's sugar.
