Bacon & Cheese Bread

Frayser version


7 oz. water
2 cups bread flour
1 tablespoons dry skim milk
1 ½ tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon butter
1 ½ teaspoons dry yeast

Place ingredients, in order, into a bread machine. Run on dough cycle.

After dough has risen, roll out (or stretch with hands) to a large oval or rectangle. Top with 5-7 slices of cooked bacon and 1 1/2 cups sharp shredded cheddar cheese. Roll up jelly roll style and tuck in ends (or cheese will ooze out and burn). Cook until brown in 350 degree oven on a cookie sheet or baking stone sprinkled with corn meal.
